T-Pain Auto-Tunes Obama…On a Boat

Last night on Jimmy Kimmel live, Jimmy challenged T-Pain's claim that his new auto-tune iPhone app could make anyone sound good, including Obama. T-Pain took up the challenge and remixed some of Obama's recent health care reform speeches. I can't front, it does sound kind of fresh. How could auto-tune be dead if even the president's still rocking it?



I never thought I'd laugh at a diabetes joke, but when T-Pain does that amputation dance move at the end I was cracking up. In all seriousness, T-Pain's sense of humor and willingness to make fun of himself has been essential to his career. Even when it sounds good auto-tune is kind of ridiculous, and by admitting as much T-Pain has kept us from turning on him. What's morem while a lot of rappers like to think they're funny (hence all the horrible skits they throw into every album), T-Pain might just actually be the funniest rapper turnt singer in the game right now. Snoop can be damn funny at times, but he's always just playing himself, while T-Pain's got the comedic ability to make hilarious jokes about Poseidon:




I've watched that about 100 times and it's still not old. I can almost guarantee you'll have "I'm on a boat motherf**ker!!!" in your head all day now. You're welcome.
