Who Hurt Your Hip-Hop Soul More: Swizz Beatz’ “Bonkers” or Tony Yayo’s “Haters” (Listen & Vote)

Why Swizz Beatz insists on rapping I'll never know. It's like one of the great mysteries of Hip-Hop. Over the weekend, without considering the harm it may do to our hearing, Swizz Beatz released the song "Bonkers." Consider this a warning,"Bonkers" is strictly three minutes and 27 seconds of Swizz Beatz rapping. No guest appearances, nothing. Just Swizz Beatz ruining a mediocre beat.

On a more serious note I'm about 98 percent sure that if we ever have to hear any more Swizz Beatz solo songs it'll be a clear marker of the end of times. So consider this a call to action. Write to President Obama, call your local Congressman and insist that this man stop rapping because if Swizz Beatz continues to rap then my friend we're not gonna make it to 2012. And I know you guys wanna live long enough to hear "Detox" so let's make that happen.

Moving right along, let's talk about Tony Yayo's "Haters." You know how I know this song is gonna suck? Because it samples part of Shawty Lo's "Dey Know" in the intro. Out of the gazillion Hip-Hop songs out there you choose to sample a Shawty Lo song? Come on Yayo, I thought you were better than that. Actually, I take that back.

Also, dearest Kidd Kidd it probably isn't the greatest look for you, a rapper, to start your verse off with "Peek-A-Boo." This is a G-Unit travesty not a Pampers commercial. Back to the travesty at hand, it sounds like not a single rapper on "Haters" put forth any effort into their "I'm so much cooler and richer than you" raps. If you're gonna brag at least make it sound somewhat entertaining.
