I don't understand why Swizz Beatz won't chill when it comes to making music and just enjoy being Alicia Keys' husband because the music he's been releasing as of late has been damn near atrocious. As soon as Swizzy excitedly informed listeners to "dance like a white girl" at the start of his newest record, "Everyday Birthday," I knew it was a wrap. Apparently people with a penchant for neon glow sticks and furry leg warmers are the new must-have demographic in Hip-Hop because these rappers are really going hard with the electro tunes.

"Everyday Birthday" also features Chris Brown rapping and that's all I have to say about that little addition. The one minor saving grace on the song is the added verse from Ludacris whose bars aren't nearly as atrocious as every other aspect of "Everyday Birthday." With records like this it's hard to believe that Swizz was the dude who produced the likes of "Money, Cash, Hoes" and the "Ruff Ryders' Anthem."
