People always ask me how I pick which songs I post on RefinedHype and the answer's easy - who ever pays me the most money. (Just so we're clear, high priced call girls are also an acceptable form of payment.) I kid. Actually, it's pretty simple. Generally speaking, if I dig the song, I like the artist(s) involved and I think I can write something interesting about it, it's going up. That's exactly what happened when I first heard STS, Jon Hope and Nikkiya's new joint "Writing's on the Wall'. It's a dope song and they're all dope artists. It's really not more complicated than that.

As long as we're here I feel obligated to point out that Nikkiya and Will Powers, who did this beat, are absolutely First 48ing shit right now. Their collab album "SPEAKHER" is murderer, they killed Emilio's "Fuck You" and now they murked this. As a producer/singer team don't be surprised if they've taken over the game in a year's time.
