B.o.B & Lil Wayne Have Their Sites Set On Green Pastures & “Strange Clouds” (Video Breakdown)

Nearly a month after the video for B.o.B and Lil Wayne’s “Strange Clouds” was supposed to premiere we’ve finally got the visuals for their spacey collab. Not sure what the delay was all about although I’m sure it has something to do with the fact that MTV no longer has any idea what a music video is or how to handle it. In the video we’ve got appearances from T.I., 2 Chainz, Playboy Tre and you guessed it…lots of strange clouds. No aliens though, unless you count Lil Wayne, and yes I am a little saddened by that.

0:00 – There was a hood fight during the making of this video, the song’s about smoking weed and drinking…if this music video isn’t entertaining please believe that someone’s going to pay.

0:04 – This is immediately reminding me of the “I’ll Be In The Sky” video.

0:14 – Wow, I thought it was about to be a wrap for the woman on that horse for a second there.

0:51 – What’s up with rappers rocking gold grills on their bottom row of teeth? It’s like the mullet for rappers: business on top, party at the bottom.

0:57 – Ha! I sure hope that lamp is a pre-Civil War family heirloom that’ll likely be worth thousands on “Antiques Roadshow.”

1:00 – Aww man, not the fanny pack. Why Wayne why?

1:02 – And why is Lil Wayne just chilling in some random field? Now do we see the dangers of smoking?

1:05 – You can only show the sky so many times if absolutely nothing is gonna happen.

1:07 – But why is Lil Wayne destroying nature for no reason whatsoever?

1:11 – B.o.B’s jean jacket with the American flag on the interior is pretty fly by the way.

1:25 – So you’re just gonna keep showing us your little Aurora Borealis eh? No aliens? Nothing?

1:42 – “Dope Noir?” People will put absolutely anything on a t-shirt these days. That being said you can definitely look forward to seeing “Why Wayne Why” on a t-shirt near you very soon.

2:37 – That miniature dance scene was pretty funny. Hella random, but still funny.
