It's no longer March, but the Madness continues, and while my bracket lays in ruins (really Kansas? Really?), it's good to know that some people are still managing to squeeze something good out of the tourney; and by some people, I mean the
Space City All-Stars. Comprised of
Scottie Spitten, D Rose,Damien Randle and
Concise Kilgore (of "
Indecent Proposal" fame), Space City has crafted a dopely unwinding new cut, aptly titled "Final Four" that's sure to put leave opponents
crying like Adam Morrison.
I should explain that while the song is certainly inspired by the NCAA Tournament, this isn't some gimmick track that attempts to name as many teams as possible, which means that while no one attempts to rhyme Ali Farokhmanesh, you do get lines like, "Final four, we crush through the brackets, the madness, marchin like a Cinderella tactic." Oh, and the track is produced by
King Midas and appears on DJ Quiz' "Quiz Knows" mixtape. Enjoy.
