Snoop Dogg & Kurupt Take a Trip to “Cancun” (Video)

Posted by Nathan S. on 02/02/10 | Filed under Videos, Snoop Dogg

Never one to let a trip to Mexico go to waste, Snoop Dogg and fellow west coast rider Kurupt decided to flip a recent trip to "Cancun" into a track and a video, a video so bad it makes "Tell Me What U Want" look like "Avatar". I thought what happens in Cancun stays in Cancun. No? Damn.

The Refined Take:

1) That opening scene might just be the worst acting I've seen since Elizabeth Berkley in "Showgirls". Not only does Snoop clearly not give a f**k, not only does it contain laughably terrible lines like "women walking on the sand and...boats and jet skis and things of that nature... " but Kurupt is almost an unwatchably bad. Hey, they can't all be Denzel.

2) "Ni**ers aren't supposed to be having no passports, but Slim hooked up the passport." Um, I'm no immigration law specialist, but I'm pretty sure black people can get passports. So basically he applied for a passport and got one, right?

3) That reminds me, along with keeping her off the pole and and making sure she never appears on the "Real World", I'm not also dedicating my life to ensuring my daughter never goes to Cancun, and if she does she stays far, far away from any rappers with video cameras.

4) It's bizarre to see the always superbly styles Snoop with such terrible hair. Basically it's been all downhill from his incredible afro in "Gin and Juice".

5) Any song with a hook like "Put it down like a champ and I didn't come too soon" is all right with me. Well done gentlemen. Well done.
