I say this with all due respect to
Smoke DZA - in fact I'm
on record saying that he's actually far better than the "just another weed rapper" crowd often insists - but on the real? Really? It was the
Harry Fraud beat that pushed me to post DZA's latest offering "
New Jack". Holy balls is that a dope beat.
For those overdosed on Ambien or who somehow gloss by that "el musica de Harry Fraud" tag, Fraud's been slowly but surely becoming one the most sought after beatsmiths around, thanks in no small part to his ability to walk that line between the mainstream and underground. Hell, he's responsible for the
only French Montana track I can even remotely lay claim to enjoying. (Well,
Yaris Sanchez didn't hurt either.)
Anyway, "New Jack" is dope, props to DZA as well, and the sample/title is apparently an obvious reference to
a wrestler I'm not aware of because I checked out of wrestling after the Andre the Giant era.
(Looking for all of RefinedHype's dope downloads in one place? We
got you covered.)
