
I'm not going to front. I didn't listen to a lot of Bob Marley growing up, and by the time I hit high school most of the white people I knew who listened to Marley were complete d-bag stoners. So out of respect to the man's music and legacy I haven't actually listened to much of his work, if that makes sense. I don't want to be another white dude saying "Marley's a legend" while I roll up a joint just because I bough his greatest hits album.
The point is, while I respect the man I'm not going to claim that he's one of my heroes. But it still seems like a shame to let Marley's birthday go by without some form of tribute - and it just so happens that
Smoke DZA's dropped one of in the form of the very dope "
Marley's Garden."
Originally intended for an official project but released
