Thank You Swizz Beatz For Completely Ruining Slaughterhouse’s “Throw It Away” (Listen & Download)Posted by Danielle Harling on 06/29/12 | Filed under Downloads, Slaughterhouse, Swizz Beatz |

As opposed to their slightly bubbly "My Life" featuring Cee Lo Green, Slaughterhouse has switched gears a bit for their latest single titled "Throw It Away." But (unfortunately) "Throw It Away" seems like yet another song aimed towards mainstream ears. It has that bouncy, clubby feel that's cool for your Yung Joc's and Waka Flocka's but I'm really not feeling this one for Slaughterhouse.
And dear Slaughterhouse, what the f**k is wrong with you guys?! You're never ever supposed to allow Swizz Beatz to say more than three and a half words on a song. He repeats himself so much that "Throw It Away" almost turns into a Swizz Beatz song featuring Slaughterhouse. Lyrically the guys aren't awful on "Throw It Away," but I do think their lyrics are heavily dumbed down and Slaughterhouse is much better than that. Pair that with Swizz Beatz' wack production and it's a bad combination.
Nathan Update: What is going on with this Slaughterhouse album? Not every track needs to be dark and lyrical, but the first two singles we've heard are obvious attempts to shove them into the mainstream? Maybe the rest of the album will sound better, but so far "Our House" feels like a huge disappointment.
