Slaughterhouse & Cee-Lo Green Seek Radio Domination With “My Life” (Listen & Download)Posted by Danielle Harling on 04/25/12 | Filed under Downloads, Slaughterhouse, Cee-Lo |

Alright, radio domination is a slight exaggeration but it looks like Slaughterhouse might just have themselves a radio hit with this one. I will say that you definitely have to give "My Life" a few listens before you can find yourself getting into the song. Because when that beat drops at the beginning of the song and Cee-Lo Green starts crooning his little heart out it might take awhile for your brain to accept the fact that you're listening to a Slaughterhouse song. It's quite different to say the least.
But what "My Life" certainly has is versatility. You've got a pretty dope beat (courtesy of Streetrunner & SAROM) and a catchy hook from Cee-Lo for the people who care mostly about how a song sounds. And on the flip-side you've got four solid Slaughterhouse verses so the song also has a heavy appeal to the hardcore Hip-Hop heads as well.
Nathan Update: For the record, this is a sample/interpolation of Corona's '90s club hit "The Rhythm of the Night". So yeah, that really happened.
