Skyzoo’s Streak of Dopeness, Cosby Show Covers Continues: “Written in the Drums” (Listen & Download)

I post things on RefinedHype for a lot of reasons. Sometimes it's just so major that I can't ignore it, even if it's not that good. Sometimes I've got too many good jokes to hold of. Very rarely it's because the art work is a fucking fantastic "Cosby Show" reference and then, hopefully more than sometimes the music's just straight up dope. Skyzoo's new release, "Written in the Drums", is more of the last two.

As anyone who tuned into his "Definitive Prayer" already knows, he doesn't get talked about nearly enough, but Sky's one of the game's best young lyricists. A lot of people say they're the second coming of Nas, but when Sky says it, he's actually not far off. I mean, just check out that section starting at the 2:20 mark. Goddamn.

I'm telling you, his "The Great Debater" mixtape, dropping via the mothership on June 7, is going to be fucking epic. And I refuse to be outdone in "Cosby Show" reference. Boom - download link and player are below the video.
