I have to really try and keep an open mind when it comes to rappers releasing emotional relationship songs because my first reaction is to usually laugh. Sorry, it is what it is. Brooklyn rapper
Sha Stimuli is the latest artist to jump on board the emo train on his newest released titled "The Quiet." Now just because I find rappity rap relationship songs somewhat humorous it doesn't necessarily mean that they aren't good. But I am kind of on the fence with Sha Stimuli's "The Quiet."
Unlike most songs I think the production may have been what killed this song. The production actually sounds kind of cliche for a song like this. And lyrically I feel like Sha Stimuli isn't giving enough energy to make up for a beat that sounds like it may have been used on 30 other songs featuring rappers rapping about their relationship woes. This is exactly why I'm not a huge fan of the rappity rap relationship songs. A lot of them just seem to take the boring route.
"The Quiet" will be featured on Sha Stimuli's "The Break Up Pt. 2: The Proposal" which will be released on June 6th via
