Schoolboy Q Fights MurphyLee-itis, Drops “Habits & Contradictions” Album (Listen & Buy)

When one member of a crew blows up it's always a double edged sword. On the plus side, other crew members get a lot of peripheral buzz, but on the downside they can become known solely in relation to that superstar. For example, TDE and Schoolboy Q (aka that other guy with Kendrick Lamar that's not Jay Rock or Ab-Soul). But while Schoolboy's still working on building a foundation of his own, that doesn't mean the man's a Murphy Lee. Schoolboy's got a sounds a vision that's similar to Kendrick but ultimately his own, and to prove it he drops off his new "Habits & Contradictions" album.
