Scheme Promises He’s the “Same Rebel, New Cause” Mixtape (Listen & Download)

I know this is going to sound shocking, but there's a new emcee out of Chicago who's deeply lyrical, always among the people and often political (do they put something in the water?). Continuing the Chi's long tradition of above-par wordsmith's is Scheme, an up-and-coming mic killer who's continuing his rise to the top on his new mixtape, "Same Rebel, New Cause". Hosted by Cypress Hill's DJ Muggs, featuring verses from Mikkey Halsted, Astonish, and Visual and production from Panik, Dario, and J-Rell, "Same Rebel" is that conscious corner rap that we've come to expect from the Windy City. Listen and recognize.

So what's Scheme's new cause? Um, to be honest, I'm not sure. But that title still sounds dope.
