Scheme Sparks a House Party on “One Helluva Night” (Listen & Download)

A lot of people would like you to believe that you have to choose between partying and listening to some dope hip-hop - it's either "Like a G6" or "Lost Ones" - but the truth is hip-hop was born to rock parties and, in the right hands, it's completely possible to both get down and get some serious lyricism. Just take Scheme's "One Helluva Night".

While a beat by the impressively consistent Slot-A gets heads nodding the background, the Chicago emcee steps forwards with some riding flows that keep thing moving while still giving the hip-hop heads everything they'd want in a rapper. Looks like we've got an early candidate for the "House Party 4".



God I'd love if they really made a "House Party 4'. Anyway, Scheme's "Life I Chose" album drops December 6 via the mothership.
