Sade is a “Soldier of Love” (Listen & Download)

Sade
Don't call it a comeback! Maybe I'm just a little worked up from writing about Aaliyah this morning, but when I saw some new music from the always sexy Sade in my inbox this morning I couldn't open it fast enough. Back after a ten year hiatus, Sade is preparing to drop her new album "Solider of Love" in February with the release of the album's title track "Soldier of Love", an appropriately militaristic track featuring the same subdued vocals we've come to expect from her. In all honesty, I'm not sure about this one yet. I'll measure every Sade track against "No Ordinary Love", and in comparison this isn't nearly as good, though I'm so happy to hear her back I barely care.

As long as we're here, did you know that "Sade" is technically a band? They named the band after their lead singer Sade Adu, but when we're talking about Sade we really should be speaking in pluralities. For the record, Sade is made up of Stuart Matthewman, Paul Spencer Denman and Andrew Hale. Sorry for constantly pretending like you don't exist guys.

^----agreed, this track is asking for a ghostface "remix" - one where he spits a storytelling verse over the song itself with the original lyrics in the background
