Sade Solider of Love Album Cover
The hype began building when it was announced that the eminently smooth pop/r&b group Sade was making a comeback after a nearly ten year hiatus, and it absolutely exploded once we got to hear the album's lead single and title track. After peaking at number one of the Billboard album charts (it's hard to do better than that) DJs, artists and hip-hop lovers worldwide - a.k.a. RefinedHype nation - undoubtedly rushed to include "Soldier of Love" samples in their sets and new tracks.

Because we know you'd like a CD but you'd love some vinyl, RefinedHype is now giving away two vinyl copies of "Soldier of Love"! I know, I know. Try not to hyperventilate. To be entered to win your own vinyl copy of the album that's been called "timeless" by critics, simply leave a comment below with the word "Sade".

(Notes: Winners will be announced on Monday. All winners must have a U.S. address. RefinedHype will not be responsible for any babies born nine months after winner receives the album.)

Just...wow! Even at 51, Sade's outshining many of those in their 20's and 30's with that album! I've been constantly on the watch for "comebacks"...but I think this tops 'em all.

For any who may be wondering why Nathan hasn't reviewed it on the Booth yet...I think it's because he likes to keep the streak going of no albums getting "5" ratings (which I think he would do if he'd reviewed it).

(BTW: classy call on Drake for not moping about her turning down the collabo. When she does give you props, it's all the sweeter then-just ask Raekwon!)

I love me some Sade. I'm assuming I'm not supposed to leave my address on the comment (gotta be careful nowadays.)

Maxwell's "comeback" is right up there in my opinion. Now if we can only get D'Angelo and Lauryn...

Sade just proves that great music isn't confided to a specific time or genre. Whether it is her old music or new, you can listen to it anytime, anywhere, and anyone will say "wow, that is amazing!"
