This Ain’t Soap Opera Rap, It’s Rome Clientel & REKS’ “One Life to Live” (Listen & Download)

Nope, not that "One Life to Live", or this "One Life to Live", we're talking this "One Life to Live". Rome Clientel's latest effort is about as far from a soap opera rap as you can get, proving once again that the NYC emcee is dedicated to keeping it (really, actually) real.

Rome's shotgun flow would have been enough, but a guest verse from the always unshakable REKS and a well-sampled beat from ATG - that's "Flaming Ember" for all my production heads out there - are icing on the proverbial cake. And by "icing" I mean additional dopeness.

If you're feeling this, you'll want to keep an ear out for Rome's upcoming EP, "The Empire 2: The Battleground", due out ~~sometime before "Detox"~~ October 16, via the mothership.
