I see RefinedHype's mission as being two-fold. One, to deflate some of the hype surrounding more famous but less deserving artists (aka talk shit). That's why we posted the new Wale and Diddy. Our second mission is to hype up some less famous artist who deserve more hype than they're getting. That's why I'm posting REKS' "Riggs & Murtaugh".

To the surprise of absolutely no one Statik Selektah puts together a perfectly balanced soul sample-meet-boom-bap beat that Boston native (like yours truly) REKS uses to lay down even more of his ceaselessly solid bars. Add in yet more rewind-worthy bars from Action Bronson and you've got a join that deserves to get some serious burn in your headphones. This is that no hook, no gimmicks, just dope ass rhymes shit.
