Reflection Eternal x J. Cole x Jay Electronica x Mos Def “Just Begun” (Listen & Download)

Reflection Eternal
Reflection Eternal, a.k.a. Talib Kweli and Hi-Tek, delivered one of the best hip-hop albums of all time, "Train of Thought' way back in 2000, so it was no wonder that a leak of their new song "Just Begun" last month caused more hip-hop heads to go scrambling to their computers than when Cassie's nude pics dropped (maybe not, but you get the point); plus throw in features from Mos Def, J. Colehi and possible hip-hop messiah Jay Electronica? Pandemonium. Thankfully Warner Bros. have finally decided to make the best of a leaked situation and release the song as an official single, complete with significantly better audio quality than the leak. Enjoy, I know you will.

After listening to this joint for almost a month straight, I can honestly say, the tracks appeals haven't worn off much. In terms of tracks (or posse cuts) you can not possibly go wrong with this, each verse is phenomenal in terms of quality.

They don’t rely on the hook to bring it to life; they are really going for broke here as each emcee barely takes a breath in delivering airtight verses, while the beat is subtly resting beneath them, making things sound dope in the truest rhymes and beats fashion.

Can J. Cole hold it down? Any doubters should be slapped right now! We all pray for the best of times, and this track delivers that sentiment perfectly... 5 Mics, XXL, 10/10
