It's always refreshing hearing someone who's authentically R&B. No auto-tune or any The Weeknd-y vocal effects. Just a soulful tune set to a smooth beat. And that's exactly what you get on Ohio singer Rashad's latest release, "Be True." Prior to hearing "Be True" I wasn't too familiar with Rashad, but those vocals are pretty impressive.

Now I know rapper P.A. Flex is featured on "Be True" but it sounds like Rashad does a bit of rapping on the song as well (but please do correct me if I'm wrong). On top of that I'm pretty sure he produced the song also. And if so then I think we've got ourselves a certified triple threat.

"Be True" will be featured on Rashad's "Museum" LP when it drops on May 21. Until then, enjoy:
