Quick Hit: These Radii Straight Jackets Kicks Are Actually Kinda Fresh (Pics)

Have you heard about the new trend? Straight jackets will be hot this spring. By now you probably think I’m fashionably challenged, but I guarantee I can change your mind by the end of this article. Straight jackets might not look fashionable as a piece of clothing however, the concept definitely translates for a fresh pair of sneakers.

Speaking of which, Radii Footwear is celebrating with some brand new colors of their number one selling shoe, the Straight Jacket VLC. For the first of many new spring teasers, they’ve decided to show off 4 new color ways including their customers’ favorite – a black raw denim, two-toned shoe with tiffany green accents. There’s also “The U” color way -- a huge favorite amongst fans of the University of Miami Hurricanes, featuring an army green ripped canvas with orange accents. And since I’m on the topic of football, might I add that I’d personally rock the dark blue/red color scheme along with a G-men jersey just to support my home team who are in the super bowl this year?

Finally, the “Super Mario” pattern, (which I feel should be collected rather than worn) features denim wax tan leather, red patent leather straps and gold contrast stitching. Each color comes with removable top straps, and additional top straps that are interchangeable.
