RIGHT ABOUT NOW…..What’s up Refined Hype, it’s Rock City checking in with the newest installment of our weekly column, letting you know what we’ve been up to and how we’ve been working to PUT THE FUCKIN’ ALBUM OUT!!!!!

This past week we were in Los Angeles hard at work on a very special project with Pepsi as part of their 2010 global soccer campaign. We wrote a song, which Akon and Keri Hilson recorded with the Grammy award winning Soweto Gospel Choir, that should be released towards the end of January. Let us tell you the song is INCREDIBLE and we are thrilled with the results.

In other news, our good friend IYAZ’s hit single “Replay” (which we wrote) is now at #4 on the Billboard charts so keep supporting him and lets get to #1. If you haven’t heard to song yet check out the video here:


We have also continued to work on Tami Chynn’s new album “Electric Avenue” which is turning out great. There are so many good songs so far it is going to be a classic. On our end we are mixing our FIRST SINGLE off the debut album "Wake The Neighbors"!!! We should be releasing the track in the next month so get excited because it looks like we are finally close to Putting The Fucking Album Out!!! We also have a couple of new mixtapes coming soon so get excited for those and we will get you some more details next week.

On a personal side, we recently saw "2012", which was very cool. As you know, we are HUGE movie buffs and this one is definitely worth taking the time to go see.

That catches us up for this week but definitely tune in next week to see what we are up to, who we have been working with and how we are working to PUT THE FUCKING ALBUM OUT!!!!
