PTFAO Blog: This Week With Rock City Vol. 3 [Exclusive]

RIGHT ABOUT NOW…..What’s up Refined Hype, it’s Rock City checking in with the newest installment of our weekly column, letting you know what we’ve been up to and how we’ve been working to PUT THE FUCKIN’ ALBUM OUT!!!!!

This past week we have been hard at work on Tami Chynn’s album Electric Ave. We will be writing the ENTIRE album and just got started on the project. Tami is incredibly talented and you all should definitely be excited for the magic we are going to create with her. We also got in the studio with Black Dada to lay down our part for the Caribbean Remix to his hit “Imma Zoe”, so definitely keep a look out for that! We are also on Chubbie Baby’s new single “Hard” which recently dropped.

Next month, we will be putting out our NEW mixtape “PTFAO—WE WILL NEVER STOP” for all of you to enjoy for FREE. The disc will be a mixture of new songs and freestyles over some of our favorite songs that are out right now. Also, next month keep a look out for the first OFFICIAL single from our debut album "WAKE THE NEIGHBORS!!!!!" Thanks to you all we should finally have an album out early next year!!! We cannot tell you what the single will be yet but we guarantee you all will LOVE it and it will be worth the wait.

On the personal front, we are incredibly proud that “Replay” by IYAZ, which we wrote, is at #3 on iTunes and #12 on the Billboard charts! If you haven’t heard the song yet, definitely check it out. Also, if you haven’t already seen “Law Abiding Citizen” with Jaime Foxx and Gerard Butler you MUST see it immediately. We are HUGE movie fans and this is definitely the best one out right now. We also can’t stop listening to “All The Way Turnt Up” by Travis Porter, definitely our favorite track out.

Remember, next week we will be heading to Los Angeles to work on a VERY exciting project, more details about that coming soon.
