As the MMG Turns: Pill’s “Represent” & Rick Ross’ “I’m Flexin (Remix)” (Listen & Download)

Listening to Young Jeezy's actually pretty good new "TM103" album has me in a serious trap music, turn up the volume and turn down my brain, ignorant/quasi-ignorant, banger, HAM mood, and coincidentally the two joints I've been banging hardest over the last 24 hours is Pill's "Represent" and Rick Ross' 'I'm Flexin' (Remix)".

I say coincidentally because while it's far from official, it looks like Pill is one his way out as a member of MMG. For whatever reason things just didn't take off for him under Ross' sizable wing like it did for Meek Mill and Wale, even though the man's a much better rapper than he often gets credit for.

But the reasons I dig Pill's new "Represent" have nothing to do with lyricism. Simply put, that beat's crazy - check the mariachi horns - and the inventor of HAM goes appropriately HAM on the mic. The same goes for Rick Ross' "I'm Flexin (Remix)", which makes me realize just how dope Senor Man Boobs sounds over a KRIT beat. Hey Shipes, let's get Rozay some more Krizza beats please, thanks.

We'll have to wait and see what he future holds for Pill and MMG, but in the mean time, feel free to ignorantly bang the shit out of these. Your welcome.
