Pill’s “Alive” Might Just Be The Official Hip-Hop/Thanksgiving Song (Listen & Download)

With Thanksgiving a mere day away Atlanta rapper Pill's "Alive" really is an ideal song to kick off the holiday season. I'm sure the majority of us have faced some type of struggle this year no matter how big or small. But at the end of the day we're all alive and I think that's something to be both thankful and grateful for.

It's definitely a great thing hearing a little bit of positivity in Hip-Hop every now and then. On top of the positive message on "Alive" it's also got a pretty banging beat courtesy of Prentis Brown (of 3 Little Digs fame). I'm loving that horns sample too, it really gives the beat that little bit of added spark needed to make "Alive" a standout song.
