The self-proclaimed "King Of New York"
Papoose pays respect to singer Amy Winehouse, rapper Slim Dunkin, Apple CEO Steve Jobs, and other notable icons that passed away last year on his latest track "2011 Obituary." Papoose's "Obituary" tracks are released annually from the rapper and this year he chose to rap over Bone Thugs-n-Harmony's "Crossroads." A pretty suitable choice for a song like this.
Now you can't possibly slander a song like this even if it was atrocious, but I think "2011 Obituary" is a pretty genuine effort from Papoose. And it's definitely a step up from the type of tracks he's released lately (like
this song for example). And I think next year it would be a bit more interesting if Papoose chose to rap over an original beat for his "2012 Obituary." I think that would add to the songs genuineness.
