Tomorrow New York City will once again be transformed into one of the most vibrant fashion capital’s of the world when Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week kicks off in Manhattan’s Bryant Park. Fashion Week will consist of about a weeks worth of fashion designers showcasing their Fall 2010 lines. Christian Siriano, Calvin Klein, Diane Von Furstenberg, and Marc Jacobs are just a sampling of the designer’s that will showcase their latest pieces in the coming week.
While a number of designers are showcased at Fashion Week there are very few who keep in mind the urban market when creating their newest lines. RefinedHype.com has created a list of designers that will be featured at Mercedez-Benz Fashion Week who also keep the urban demographic in mind.
Diesel Black Gold

Diesel is one brand that has remained consistent when it comes to creating clothes for the younger, urban market. Although Diesel sells pieces like hoody’s and jeans, the brand still manages to add a hint of high-fashion to their clothing.
Marc Jacobs

Although Marc Jacob’s pieces tend to be a little (a lot) on the pricey side he still manages to keep a keen eye on the urban audience. And his “hipster-nerd” models definitely look like they were taken from the gentrified streets of any urban city.
Michael Kors

Even though the majority of Michael Kors’ pieces targets an older audience, he still finds time to create pieces that are also appealing to a younger demographic.
BCBG MAXAZRIA

For years now, BCBG MAXAZRIA has been the choice for urban fashionista’s across the country. Their clothing remains fun and youthful and a lot less expensive than other high-end brands.
