New Rakim!: “Walk These Streets” (Download)

When one of the greatest rappers of all time drops a new track, hip-hop fans are legally obligated to listen. I just got hit with Rakim's new single "Walk These Streets", off his upcoming "The Seventh Seal" album, and believe me, the man hasn't lost a lyrical step since his "Paid in Full" days.
Over a smoothly winding soul beat, Rakim dedicates his rhymes to all the haters, dropping rhymes like, "They say don't let money make you / but that's how they rate you / and the more you got the more they hate you."

Rakim has confirmed that "The Seventh Seal" will be 16 tracks long, with features from The L.O.X., Maino, Busta Rhymes, and more. The majority of the album was produced by long-time Rakim collaborator Nick Wiz, and will also include beats from Nottz, Ty Fyffe, and Jake One. It's currently slated to be released in mid-November.
