Nero Drinks Down “The FIFTH” (Listen & Download)

No offense to Nero - we'll get to him in a moment - but the real reason I'm bringing "The FIFTH" back from the other day's "Daily Re-Up" is the beat. Over the weekend I had "The FIFTH" on repeat, and I'm come to believe it's one of the best beats I've heard in a a minute. Honestly I've never heard of Hudson Mohawke before, but that dude's put together an insanely creative beat. I mean...goddamn, just...goddamn.

That's nt to neglect Nero, who absolutely comes with it on the mic. It's not easy to flow over a beat like this and not get completely drowned out, but he manages to more than hold his own. From now on I'll be keeping an eye out for any new tracks from the Harlem emcee. Like, for example, his upcoming project "Momentum", coming only God and Nero know when.
