Quick Hit: Check Out This Duck Down x NBA2K12 Emcee Contest

Our good friends over at Duck Down are running a dope contest for emcees a verse placed in the upcoming NBA2K12 game, along with some other goodies, and they've enlisted our help in getting the word out. So check out the details below, listen to the ten final tracks and place your vote.

With 730+ original MC vocal recording submissions over Alex Kresovich's winning instrumental, Duck Down Music A&R and 2K Sports representatives have chosen MCs JetNoiseCardi, Nique, P.L., Natureal, Syncere, D.J.I.G., Hi-Rez, Renny Rugah, Alo, and Ace DaVinci as the Top 10 MC Finalists. In addition to being in the Top 10, these MCs will receive Premium Accounts at SoundCloud, valued at $700.

Fans are encouraged to VOTE for their favorite track through the official Facebook Tab Application.

Voting ends at 12PM EST on Monday, May 9th, 2011 and the winning MC will be announced. The public voting will be a major factor in the decision for the winning track to be placed in the NBA® 2K12 game soundtrack, however the final decision rests with NBA 2K and Duck Down Music executives. The winning MC, alongside the winning Producer Alex Kresovich, will also receive an all-expense paid trip to New York City, where they will have a special opportunity to perform the song live at Duck Down's CMJ Showcase in the Fall.
