Lately I've been all over new Nas releases like a fat kid on cake (© 50 Cent), and with good reason. Everything that's come from el casa de Nasir Jones lately has been pure dopeness, but considering it was ripped straight from a live Paris show, this "A Queens Story" might just be my favorite yet.

It's such a cliche to say something is "real" hip-hop, but.....I don't know if it gets any more real than Nas shouting out his influences live, followed by DJ Green Lantern playing Marvin Gaye’s classic, “I Want You,” followed by Nas previewing a verse from "A Queens Story."

Straight up, if this shit doesn't get you excited about hip-hop, you don't love hip-hop. Nas' "Life is Good" drops Tuesday, July 19. In the meantime, enjoy.
