While rap (with rare exception) continues to feel stuck in copy and paste purgatory, this has to be considered some very fucking exciting times for R&B. The genre's being pushed into territory previously thought untouchable, and Muzi is one of the artists leading the charge. Regular citizens of RefinedHype Nation know I prize originality over everything, so I had to give similarly minded folks a push into Muzi's new "Somnolence Vol. II" mixtape.

Produced in-full by Paul "Shoden!1" Sheehy, the 14-track LP features previously-released single "Cardiac Kid". Guitars come courtesy of the talented Tony Reyes, while the lone guest appearance on "Vol. II" is frequent collaborator Novel.
