Mos Def Gets All the Way Live With the Brooklyn Philharmonic (Listen & Download)

God it's good to hear Mos Def making music again, even if he's no longer going by Mos Def (sorry Mos, I promise I'll try to remember to call you Yasiin Bey from now on). Just a week after we got his BlackStar reunion audio from his recent concert with the Brooklyn Philharmonic on October 12 emerged.

Fair warning, this is all his newer material, so as fucking amazing as it would have been to hear "Ms. Fat Booty" backed by an orchestra, no such luck. But Yasiin times some seriously amazing musicians is still a damn good time - it's great to see there are still rappers out there who aren't afraid to make music that truly means something.

Now I just need to hear Juicy J backed by the London Philharmonic and my life will be complete. (Word to RubyHornet for the spot.)
