In the past year or so Wale has appeared on songs with so many R&B singers that I wouldn't be surprised if we find the rapper singing a hook or two on his next album. The only song which features both an R&B singer and Wale that I've really been impressed with was "Lotus Flower Bomb" with Miguel. So I'm really curious as to why all these singers keep turning to Wale for their songs. But for Wale's latest R&B collab we find the rapper offering a verse for Monica's newest song titled "Take A Chance."

Since "Take A Chance" features Wale I was expecting something a little more upbeat. Instead, the song is a little on the sleepy side. Listening to the first minute or so of "Take A Chance" it in no way sounds like a song you would expect a rapper to jump on. Wale's verse does give the song a little added momentum though. Without it I'm sure the song would probably put most people to sleep.
