Guess who's back? Well, I'm not sure if
Memphis Bleek every really went away but he's definitely one rapper you only hear from every blue moon. Regardless of where he has or hasn't been he recently released the single "Control" featuring fellow New York City emcee
Redman and dancehall artist
Dynasty. The track flaunts production from Phraze & Rell, a crafty verse from Redman, Dynasty on the hook, oh and two separate Twitter mentions.
Is it just me or does it feel like there's something distinctly New York (or Miami for that matter) about bringing a dancehall artist onto a Hip-Hop track? Either way it seems to work. I could have done without the auto-tuning at the start of "Control" though. And unfortunately for Bleek although the song is his Redman put up a much better verse.
