Rant Alert: Meek Mill, Rick Ross, Crashed Servers & “DreamChasers 2” Mixtape (Listen & Download)Posted by Nathan S. on 05/07/12 | Filed under Top Stories, Downloads, Opinion, Mixtapes, Meek Mill |

I've already spoken at length on the issue, so I'll just briefly recap here. Today MMG protege Meek Mill dropped his legitimately anticipated "Dreamchasers 2" mixtape via Datpiff, predictably the server crashed in five minutes, and now instead of Twitter talking about "how dope is this new Meek Mill?!" everyone's talking about "who has a working link to this Meek Mill?". So while some of our lesser informed brethren will brag about crashing a server as a sign of popularity, we know it's actually a sign of a weak ass server and a failed mixtape drop.

That's an excellent point me on Twitter. Rick Ross clearly isn't hurting for material funds. Forget Datpiff, or LiveMixtapes, or Hulkshare, or hell, even the mothership and RefinedHype. Why would he include any middle man in a mixtape release? A "drug dealer" like the Bawse should understand that bringing in dealers from outside the circle can only bring trouble. Why not just sink a few thousand dollars into building a MMG site that won't crash and release everything himself?
And the real shame of it is that I straight up think Meek Mill is a talented rapper. We should all be talking about the music and debating just how high Meek can get in the game instead of this fuckery, but it just wasn't in the cards. Blame Rick Ross.
Ok, enough talk. Let's get to what (most of) you really want. An actually working download link, tracklist and preview streams are below the video . Enjoy, or something:
