Rick Ross & Meek Mill Become Mediocre Hip-Hop Magicians On “Black Magic” (Listen & Download)Posted by Danielle Harling on 06/01/12 | Filed under Downloads, Rick Ross, Meek Mill |

Dear Rick Ross, it wouldn't hurt to recruit some new producers every now and then because these songs are all starting to sound very, very similar. Lyrically "Black Magic" is cool, Meek Mill puts forth two pretty nice verses but I feel like it's overshadowed by the fact that this song sounds like it's already been done before by MMG. If it wasn't for the seemingly infinite number of "poof!" and "whoops!" on "Black Magic" I would have sworn this was the remake of an already released song.
While Ross' hook on "Black Magic" is entertaining it doesn't seem to make much sense. Maybe I'm thinking too much in-depth with this one, but isn't "poof" normally said by magicians when they're about to make something disappear? So is Ross informing us that his car, crib, and his money are disappearing? Is this some kind of hidden cry for help? I definitely think we're going to need David Copperfield's two cents on this "poof" dilemma.
UPDATE: Now with a CDQ download. You're welcome, or not. Either way, it's there.
