The Refined Take:

1) Director: "So here's what I'm thinking Mariah. We dress you and Nicki up in some quasi-fetish outfits, push your breasts up around your mouth and call it a day." Mariah: "Sounds great, Nic, carry my bag, we're out of here."

2) You know both of them had trouble breaking through that plastic covering on the doll box. I would have given anything to have watched the outtakes from that - maybe on the director's cut? If there is a God this will leak.

3) Wow, Mariah fell down. I couldn't have possibly seen that coming. Oh wait, I did. Maybe she was drunk, again.

4) Nicki raps like a malfunctioning robot, so the doll thing works really well for her. As long as we're on the subject, why did they include a shot of her cringing as she pops balloons and gets hit in the retina with latex fragments? Seems like the type of thing that would have stayed in the editing room.
