Machine Gun Kelly is “EST 4 Life”, Are You? (Mixtape Listen & Download)

I like to break down music I don't personally like into three categories:

1) I don't really give a fuck what anyone else thinks, this shit is wack (ex. Soulja Boy).
2) I don't personally like it, but a lot of other people seem to. Maybe I'm missing something (ex. French Montana).
3) I don't personally like it, but I totally get why other people do.

At this point Machine Gun Kelly is definitely in Category 3 for me. There have been literally zero times in my life when I was sitting around and thought, "You know what I'd like to hear right now? Some Machine Gun Kelly." But that's fine, I've seen his live shows, the boy goes hard in the pain onstage. He's created a loyal fanbase by making them feel like they're a part of something, and fuck the rest of the world. Who knows, if I was 18 right now and looking to vent some aggression maybe I'd like this shit too.

So if you're a legit MGK fan, or even just someone in Category 2 trying to figure the Cleveland kid out, I recommend coping his new "EST 4 Life" mixtape. Essentially a collection of the loose cuts he's done over the past year or so, "EST 4 Life" features a guest spot from Young Jeezy and DJ Whoo Kid yelling. So you've got that going for you.

The real test will be watching if he can turn all this fan support into legit sales numbers when his Bad Boy "Lace Up" albums drops sometime before "Detox". In the meantime, stream and download link is below the tracklist. Enjoy, or not.
