Mac Miller Gets Chopped & Screwed On Previously Unreleased “Someone Like You” (Listen & Download)

Now that Mac Miller has become a major part of the sound coming out of Pittsburgh, it's pretty interesting hearing him adopt a sound from a completely different part of the country on "Someone Like You." On the record Miller takes on the chopped and screwed style prominent in Texas and the end result is quite unique to say the least.

It's cool that Miller isn't afraid to be experimental with his music, but I'm not feeling the chopped and screwed effect on this record. His voice is so warped that if you weren't given the heads up you'd probably have no idea that it's Miller on the song. If anything, they could have chopped and screwed the hook and just kept his verses as is. If you're also on the fence with this one then feel free to check out Miller a.k.a. Larry Dollaz' other tunes on his newly-created SoundCloud page.
