Ludacris & Trey Songz Decorate Their “Sex Room” (Listen & Download)

Ludacris Battle of the Sexes Album Cover
Some quick reactions to Ludacris' new track "Sex Room". One, it's no "Sexting" (which, by the way, holds up pretty well after multiple listens) but it's definitely got more radio appeal. Unless you're listening to Christian conservative radio, in which case not so much. Two, Luda's a master of forcing rhymes via delivery, but the "sanctuary...anxious baby" on the opening line doesn't work at all. I'm surprised he kept it in. Third, I thought the entire point of "Battle of the Sexes" was that the track's would feature female artists alongside Luda. Right? Fourth, I feel like most women would take off running if you invited them to your "sex room." Just checked with the wife, yep. Unless it's some crazy swingers thing, no woman is going into a "sex room." There's just too much that could go wrong.

Also, I almost can't believe I'm writing this, but has Trey Songz supplanted Usher as the go to guy for a slow sex jam? I feel like even a few years ago Luda would have gone with Ursher on this track, but now...it feels like a passing of the torch a little bit.

Song's OK...but I don't think the pick-up line will ever work in real life (Nathan put it exactly)

As for BOTS…you know how it fells when you’ve ordered 15 rounds of Patron and Grey Goose, wait an unreasonably long time for them to fill them up, and then they tell you they’re cutting off the Grey Goose because the Nappy Bar across the street serves it now, so they serve with only a few rounds having a single splash of Grey Goose, while others have inferior wines mixed in (and the others are straight Patron)…Yeah, I know I should be happy I still got the Patron, but I can’t help but miss the lost taste of the Grey Goose mix I woulda gotten.

That pretty sums up how I feel about this album.

First of all Usher is still man, even though he has dropped some disappointing tracks (Little Freak). Secondly this track is about as forgettable as the concept. Luda is better than this; he needs to come harder than this if he wants me to buy Battle of the Sexes.

@Young Swish Agreed. Usher needs to get on it thought, it's been too long since we've heard a good baby maker track from Ursher.
