Watch Lotus and Dunnit’s Insane “Fly With Me” Video

I get a fair amount of videos thrown my way, and while most of them look like they were produced by a drunken fifth-grader, the video for Lotus and Dunnit's "Fly With Me" honestly blew me away. If I had to describe it quickly I'd say it's a blend between Terminator 2 and one of those quasi-porn flicks you get on Cinemax late at night, but that's really not doing it justice. You're just going to have to watch:

The Refined Take:

1) "Mission: Seduce Women." Isn't that always the mission my friends. Isn't it always.
2) I don't know what this new 3-D-esque effect is (we saw something similar in Chali 2na's "International" video), but it's crazy.
3) It takes a brave man to appear almost completely naked in a video. I guarantee you that dude's been doing crunches like a maniac as soon as soon as he found out about the video concept.
4) For the record, you can't just go into a clothing store naked and start trying things on. I learned that one the hard way.
5) As memorable as the video is, it fulfills its essential mission: getting me to listen to new music. I'd never heard Lotus and Troy Dunnit before, but I'm digging their style. Definitely a sort of "The Neptunes with some grit" type thing. I'll be on the lookout for their upcoming EP "Anti Cupid."
