I know there are a lot of people shaking their heads in disbelief right now, checking their water glass to make sure it wasn't spiked with acid. Yep, it's real people. "Wonton Soup" connoisseur Lil B has indeed done a track with soul-sample production legend 9th Wonder, and to top it off undergrouned lyrical mainstays Phonte and Jean Grae jumped on board for "Base for Your Face".

Now I'm really gonna fuck with your brain stem - it's actually kind of dope. In a way I've never been so impressed with 9th - who else could flip "thank you based god" into such a beautiful beat? And on top of it Phonte and Jean sound smooth as hell, plus this is the first Phonte and 9th collab since Little Brother's break-up (it's been a long time). Oh, and I forgot to say Lil B's verse actually isn't bad - in fact, his "all they do is rhyme words, typical rappers" might just be straight up dope.

kylewilliam	B is playin some serious games. I followed the explosion of The Pack here in the Bay, and to see him create the infinite MySpace pages and put out songs like "Wonton" and "Bieber" confused us. That might have been the first time some of the readers here have listened to him, unfortunately...To come full circle and link with some legends? Mind-blowing and a sigh of relief at the same time.
