Leela James Talks About Writing Process, New Single “So Cold” (Premier Video)

To this day Leela James' superb "A Change Is Gonna Come" remains one of my favorite albums of all time - seriously, how beautiful is this, and this, and this? - , so when RefinedHype was given the chance to premier some footage of James talking about her writing process as she she celebrates the release of her new album "My Soul", I jumped all over it like Tiger Woods on a Hooters waitress.

Ok, enough jokes. This is actually serious business. As her new single "So Cold" proves, James still has one of the most soulful and expressive voices in the music industry. I've already copped "My Soul", and I highly recommend you support quality music and follow my lead.
