Laws, Emilio Rojas & Big K.R.I.T. Will “Hold You Down (Remix) ” (Listen & Download)

A full five months after he dropped his breakthrough project, "4:57 PM", Laws is still working the dope mixtape, today turning in remix of the mixtape's standout track "Hold You Down". This time around the bouncing, DJ Khalid-produced cut features two new verses from Laws (see Busta, was that so hard), an absolutely sick flow from "The Natural" Emilio Rojas and a solid Southern verse from recent Def Jam signee Big K.R.I.T. In a word, goddamn.

On a side note, I have to say folks are way too involved int he Guru/Solar thing. We don't know what really happened, and even if we did and assigned all the blame to Solar, talking about murdering the man in revenge is going too far. Laws may be serious when he says he's going to shoot him - almost definitely not - but that's the kind of reckless talk that actually gets people get killed.

Seriously though. That Rojas verse is ill.
