These days there's just so much new music flooding our headphones on the daily it's nearly impossible to keep up with artists that aren't your absolute favorites. So I'm not going to front, I haven't been following The Kid Daytona's every move, but every so often he'll drop some new music and I'll think, "Oh yeah, Daytona's fucking dope - why don't I bump more of his music on the daily?"

So yeah, his new album "Summer Games: The Kid with the Golden Pen" is essentially an hour long "oh yeah, Daytona's fucking dope" experience. Along with the Bronx emcee rhymes come from Jon Connor, Jadakiss and Mackey, with production from 9th Wonder, Bink!, Harry Fraud and Chuck Inglish. In other words, yeah, the beats are top shelf only.
