Yo, This kGb “Casey” is Actually Pretty Damn Good (Listen & Download)Posted by Nathan S. on 07/27/11 | Filed under Downloads, Underground, kGb |

I'll be honest, I don't know much about kGb. His bio says that he's only 19-years-old, has influences ranging from Cam to The Roots (that's quite a spectrum) and now officially has the honor of being the first rapper from Hartford, CT featured on RefinedHype. But I do know that the man can rhyme, especially when it comes to storytelling flows. Trust me, I know there are way too many new rappers out there to check out everyone - but "Casey" is worth the listen. (I gotta be honest though man, it's time for a new promo photo.)
Oh, and for the record (via Casey): "This is a song I decided to make called 'Casey' based off the "Casey Anthony" trials. This is NOT a song based on the trial itself, but rather a story with me playing Devil's Advocate to the public's reaction. I also implemented the themes of Casey's lying character into my own woven story to answer one question... did she or did she not commit the crime?"
