Is it just me or does
Katy Perry seem to get all the really dope rappers for her songs? First it was Snoop and Kanye West and now the pop singer has recruited none other than
B.o.B for her remix to "
The One That Got Away." I wouldn't really call the song that much of a remix though since the only difference from the original is that it includes two verses from B.o.B.
Now I thought "
Airplanes" was extremely pop, but I think B.o.B may have reached a new level of pop-dom with his appearance on "The One That Got Away Remix." Rapping about spilling your heart out and waking up to someone doing their hair? Sounds like B.o.B may have taken a page from the Book of Drake.
Despite how sappy they may sound B.o.B's two verses do fit the song well and they also give the song a little added excitement. I listened to
the original "The One That Got Away" and it is a little on the boring side.
Nathan Update: Also added a new B.o.B. cut ft.
T.I., "
Never Lost". While most are listing this as "featuring"
Coldplay, it just has a sample of Coldplay's "
Lost".
